Breaking News
Dear reader, I have a big announcement regarding my future as a conservative writer. I recently decided to join The Hayride and the RVIVR blogs as a contributing writer.
For those who are unfamiliar, The Hayride is the top Louisiana political commentary blog. Started in 2009, The Hayride mostly writes about local and state affairs from a conservative perspective, but it also covers some national politics as well.
Personally, I’ve read The Hayride for about a year now, so I am so thankful to have the opportunity to write for one of my favorite blogs. I’m a little on “cloud nine” at this point if you couldn’t tell.
Moving on, I will also start writing for the rising MAGA conservative blog and news aggregator website RVIVR (pronounced “Reviver”). RVIVR provides national news and political from a “revivalist” perspective. Think of “revivalism” as the antithesis of the status quo, Bush conservatism from a generation ago. In effect, RVIVR promotes a reactionary, (“revivalist”) America First-version of conservatism as conserving an earlier stage of Liberalism isn’t going to save our country.
Moreover, RVIVR was set up earlier this month by the editor/founder of The Hayride blog: Scot McKay. If you enjoy reading The Hayride, then I can guarantee that you’ll want to give a look to RVIVR. There’s a lot potential in this website, so I appreciate Scott McKay for allowing me to become a part of this growing website.
For anyone interested, my first article on the RVIVR blog is already published. The link to this article is below. It is an updated version of my “Beautiful Losers” blog post from a few months ago. Definitely go check it out:
Of course, a lot more is to come from my work as a contributor for The Hayride and RVIVR.
The Impact on the Tin Can Conservative
So far, I’ve only talked about what’ll be doing for The Hayride and the RVIVR blogs. I’ll now end this post by talking about what I’ll be doing on this blog: The Tin Can Conservative.
Rest assured, I will still continue to write for this blog. I will keep writing on this blog for a long time.
However, this blog will slightly transform into a hub/aggregator for all of my political (writing) content. That means some of my posts on the Tin Can Conservative will be a “re-post” of my content from other blogs like The Hayride, RVIVR, Gottesdienst, and other blogs in the future. Therefore, not all of my future posts on this blog will be made exclusively for the Tin Can Conservative blog.
Whenever I write an article for either of these blogs, then I’ll make a blog post here on this blog (i.e. the Tin Can Conservative) where I’ll embed the link to the other blog post (kind of like what I did above here). I’ll plan on putting these articles under a new blog post category–something like “My Content on Other Blogs” (the name can be changed if I think of something better).
Anyways, I hope that you enjoyed reading this good news today! Lots more solid content is coming down the pipeline, so buckle up & enjoy!
