One More Time
I know you’ve enjoyed learning more about America First candidates in 2022. Honestly, my “Part one” article of America First candidates in 2022 has been one of my most read candidates this year. So, I thought that I’d give the people more of what they want. That’s just how this blog rolls here.
All four candidates on this list are all rock-solid. They definitely check the box for what it takes to become an America First politician.
1. Ted Budd for US Senator (North Carolina)
Ted Budd is running for the open US Senate seat in North Carolina. Budd won the Republican Primary for this election, so he is now set to face Democrat nominee Cheri Beasley.
Budd started his political career in 2017 after he won the 2016 Congressional election for North Carolina’s 13th District. Since then, Ted Budd has worked hard in the US House of Representatives to stop illegal immigration, to stop Big Tech Censorship, and to combat the opioid crisis.
While I would not say that Budd is exactly perfect on the issues, he still should be a solid addition to the US Senate if he were to get elected.
Now, Budd is in a solid position to win the general election in November. He has already received an endorsement for President Trump and holds a decent lead over his Democrat opponent in most polling. Budd also received endorsements from solid conservatives politicians like Lt Gov Mark Robinson and Congressman Jim Jordan.
So, let’s hope that Budd can pull off the victory in the swing state of North Carolina!
2. Doug Mastriano for Pennsylvania Governor
Doug Mastriano is running for Governor in the state of Pennsylvania. Mastriano recently won a crowded Republican primary, so he is going against the Democrat nominee Josh Shapiro in the November general election for the governorship.
Before running for Governor, Mastriano served in the US Army for about thirty years. He then became a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate in 2019, and decided to run for Governor in this election cycle.
What excites me about Mastriano is how he has positioned himself as a “ultra-conservative”/”Christian conservative” political leader. His policy positions also reflect the America First agenda.
Having received Trump’s endorsement. Mastriano is essentially in a “dead heat” heading into the general election in November. The Pennsylvania gubernatorial election is going to be a close, important election.
The people Pennsylvania deserve a true patriot to become their next governor, and let’s hope that Doug Mastriano will become the state’s next governor.
3. John Gibbs for Congress (Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District)
John Gibbs is running for the US House of Representatives in Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District.
I can honestly say that Gibbs has one of the most impressive track records of any America First candidate in this year’s election cycle. Gibbs worked under the Trump administration in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He also is a strong Christian–having served as a Christian missionary in Japan for several years. In the private sector, Gibbs worked as a software developer in California–hence his Computer Science degree from Stanford University.
Now, Gibbs is running in the Republican primary against RINO incumbent Peter Meijer. Rep Meijer was one of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach President Donald Trump in January 2021. He also voted to create the “kangaroo court” known as the January 6th Commission.
So, you can pretty much tell that Meijer is the ultimate RINO–on the level of Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. Thankfully, John Gibbs has stepped up to challenge the incumbent Meijer for his Congressional seat.
John Gibbs’s platform is quite informative and thorough–which I appreciate. Here are several based policy positions Gibbs has listed on his website: election integrity, ending Anti-white Discrimination (based), a national Constitutional (“permit-less”) concealed carry, a non-interventionist foreign policy, fixing the frequent contamination of America’s food supply, curtailing the power of the “Surveillance state”, getting a handle on Black crime, stopping mass immigration, and much more.
Personally, John Gibbs has one of the most impressive policy platforms of any America First conservative running in 2022, so I would definitely recommend checking out his policy page here on his website.
Additionally, Gibbs has an impressive endorsement record to match his platform. President Donald Trump, Dr. Ben Carson, and Turning Point Action are some of Gibbs’s top endorsers.
Gibbs’s primary election is on August 2nd, so let’s hope that Gibbs will defeat the RINO Peter Meijer and go onto to become the Republican candidate in the general election for Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District.
4. Bo Hines for Congress (North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District)
Bo Hines was a candidate that I learned about recently who’s positioned himself as a young America First conservative candidate.
At only 26 years old, Hines is a native of North Carolina, a former college football player, and a graduate of Yale University. After graduating college, Hines desired to serve his home state of North Carolina by running for office–specifically for the US House of Representatives. He is one of the youngest Congressional candidates in the whole country, so I am quite impressed to see another guy stepping up and looking to make a positive impact in America.
Back in May, Hines won a crowded Republican primary for North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District. His next opponent is NC State Senator Wiley Nickel.
Due to Redistricting in 2020, this Congressional District is considered a toss-up District. Hopefully, the more pro-Republican National Environment will help Bo Hines become victorious in November.
Regarding Bo Hines’s platform, his website does not provide too much detail on his policy positions. He broadly supports the 2nd Amendment, election integrity, and economic populist policies. His positions seem to generally align with the America First message–based on my research of this candidate.
On a similar note, Hines has pledged to support a Congressional subpoena of Dr. Fauci in order to investigate Fauci’s corrupt mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also stated his intent to impeach sitting President Joe Biden if Hines were to win the general election. Those two promises alone show me that Hines has the potential to become an America First fighter in Congress.
Hines has received several endorsements from America First leaders like President Trump, Rep. Matt Gaetz, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green.
Overall, Hines is another America First candidate to support in the 2022 election cycle.
Let’s all try to help these America First candidates and any others running for office in 2022. We need to make sure that the Red Wave this November is filled with “America First conservatives”.
